Imaginations can run wild in the landscaped gardens and playground where children can: explore the secret garden; uncover buried treasure in the sandpit; create culinary delights in the mud kitchen; or conquer the majestic fort.
Inside the spacious class room there is an abundance of books, toys, and educational tools to encourage learning and personal growth.
The greatest asset of the Kindy it its staff.
Granville Kindy is very proud of its fantastic educators. All give 100% commitment to their role of teaching. Their professionalism, experience and outstanding ability has enabled the Kindy to provide a program which is well respected in early education.
Our kindergarten has two teaching staff for a maximum of 22 children.

Granville Kindy began, like many community kindies, as a playgroup in a hall. The Granville community with great insight by some parents realised that a kindergarten with a qualified teacher was going to give their child the best start in life.
They formed a committee and, with support from the local community and an understanding bank manager, they sought a building and land. This building was previously a vacant Church that the parents purchased in 1987. One of the founding members is still involved with the kindy, almost 30 years later.
The building needed many alterations to enable it to attract government funding as a Kindergarten. Along with the Lion's Club of Granville, the parents built the kitchen, bathroom area, office, created the garden, built the original fort and sandpit, painted the walls and made some of the furniture.
After they did this, they had a mortgage to pay off and increasingly stringent regulations to meet. So then came the fundraising. In the early days, the parents at Granville had spins at the pub every Friday, a raffle every week, a pie drive every month plus numerous Trivia Nights, 500 clubs and the like.
Granville Kindy is the result of hours of work and dedication from previous families and staff. They have laid solid foundations for current families to contribute to the kindy's prosperity and growth.
